The Colony counter's Petri dishes holder is a grid glass that can be lighted either from the bottom or from an outstanding upper fluorescent lamp. The magnifying lens is adjustable. The instrument is equipped with an adapter for different type of Petri dishes, up to 145mm. The display digital counter of big dimensions is activated either by the marker probe or by the special push-button switch on unit side.
